Open Forum w/ Anne Lamb of Jericho
Anne Lamb of the Jericho Movement joined us with politcal prisoner case updates for a number of prisoners including Jalil Muntaqim aka Anthony Bottom a former member of both the Black Panther Party and the Black Liberation Army.
We also discussed police terrorism and the latest case of an apparent murder by police in Baltimore.

Mumia update, Prisoner Birthdays and Hillary Clinton announcement
Tune in for information pertaining to the political prisoners being held by the US government. Tonight we will have an open forum while we look at some the news and upcoming events. We may be joined during the program by Noelle Hanrahan of Prison Radio.

4.13 Janet Holloway Africa #006308 SCI Cambridge Springs 451 Fullerton Avenue Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania 16403 The MOVE 9 are nine men and women who have been in prison since August 8, 1978, following a massive police attack on their home in the Powelton Village neighborhood of Philadelphia. The raid was a major military operation carried out by the Philadelphia police department under orders of then-mayor, Frank Rizzo. During this attack, heavy equipment was used to tear down the fence surrounding their home, fill the house with tear gas, and flood it. One of the cops on the scene was killed by a single bullet, most likely fired by another cop from above during the raid. All nine members of the MOVE organization were put on trial and convicted of murder. One of the nine, Merle Africa, died in prison in 1998 after being denied medical treatment. In January 2015, Phil Africa died in a prison infirmary after a short stay in a local hospital. The seven remaining prisoners are regularly up for parole and supporters are campaigning to secure their release. More information: move9parole.blogspot.com and onamove.com
4.16 Walter Bond #37096-013 USP Marion - CMU Post Office Box 1000 Marion, Illinois 62959 Walter Bond (Abdul Haqq) is an imprisoned Animal Liberation Front activist that was arrested in the summer of 2010 for the “ALF Lone Wolf” arsons of a sheepskin factory in Denver, Colorado a leather factory in Salt Lake City, Utah and the Tiburon restaurant in Sandy, Utah which sold the incredibly cruel product Foie Gras. He plead guilty to all three arsons as well as one count of AETA (the infamous Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act). Walter received a total prison sentence of 12 years and 3 month and is scheduled for release on April 14th of 2021. More information: supportwalter.org
4.18 Rebecca Rubin, #98290-011 FCI Dublin 5701 8th Street - Camp Parks Dublin, California 94568 Rebecca Rubin is serving a 5 year sentence for her role in a series of Earth Liberation Front (ELF) actions including the arson of the Vail Ski Resort Expansion and US Forest Industries. She also participated in the liberation of horses and the arson of Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wild Horse Facilities in Litchfield, California and Burns, Oregon. Rebecca is expected to be released in September, 2017.

Alert! Prisoner health crisis for several political prisoners
Tune in to Political Prisoner Radio for some of the latest in political prisoner and prisoner of war news in the United States. Featured speakers and commentary.
Tonight we will be speaking with Mrs. Sheila Hayes, wife of political prisoner Robert "Seth" Hayes. Robert Seth Hayes has been a political prisoner held by the New York State Correctional system since 1972. He is a former member of the Black Panther Party and the Black Liberation Army. Mrs. Hayes will inform us about a health crisis her husband is experiencing and how the concerned public can assist the family in getting Robert Hayes the healthcare he needs.
Dr. Mutulu Shakur is a former member of the Revolutionary Action Movement (RAM) which is a Black Nationalist group that struggled for Black self-determination and socialist change in America. He was also a member of the Provisional Government of the Republic of New Afrika which endorsed the founding of an independent New Afrikan (Black) Republic and the establishment of an independent Black state in the southern U.S. Dr. Shakur also worked very closely with the Black Panther Party, supporting his brother Lumumba Shakur and Zayd. Dr Shakur nearly lost his legs recently according to reports from the inadequate treatment he received for a spider bite.
Mumia Abu-Jamal, one of the more well known revolutionaries who was a member of the Black Panther Party as a teen and later associated with the Move Organization in Philidelphia, PA which was under the leadership of state murdered revolutionary John Africa. Mumia Abu-Jamal was recently hospitalized and was in a diabetic coma. He has since been transfered from the hospital he was being treated in back to the prison infirmary. We will try to get an update on his current health status.
Political Prisoner Romaine 'Chip' Fitzgerald has a birthday coming up on April 11. Romaine “Chip” Fitzgerald was born and raised in Compton, California. Upon his release from the Youth Authority in early 1969, he joined the Southern California Chapter of the Black Panther Party. He has been held for over 44 years as a victim of the FBI's illegal war on the Black Panther Party and other left leaning groups and individuals.
