Larry Pinkney is a former member of the Black Panther Party and the former Minister of Interior of the Republic of New Africa. He is a former political prisoner and said to be the only American to have successfully self-authored his civil/political rights case to the United Nations under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. He has also been active in the Occupy Movement and continues his activism and is an accomplished writer. He shares his insights into the problems our political prisoners are facing.
